This Group identity (GI) program serves the key purpose of endorsing the positions of the many subsidiaries of the Marubeni Corporation general trading company for the Marubeni Group.
The Marubeni Group logotype introduced in 1992 was developed to enable member companies that do not use "Marubeni" in their corporate name to disclose their membership in the Marubeni Group in a sophisticated, indirect manner. We also reexamined the Marubeni logotype, the central element concerned in the project, and developed a specification manual to standardize use of the GI.
