Sojitz Group

Case detail

This branding project was conducted for a general trading company group, with Sojitz Corporation, a new company created through the merger of Nichimen and Nissho-Iwai, as the Group’s core company. A single brand strategy is employed to maximize the synergy of the Group, which aims to achieve top-class competitiveness and profitability in a complex mix of businesses.

As a motif, the logo employs two "global arrows," representing the Chinese character "So" ("twins") in the Sojitz name, projected dynamically from the rim of the earth. Gramco handled the brand concept development, naming/VI development, Web design and VI manual development (Japanese and English).
