The Misumi Group, which operates franchise businesses such as the ENEOS gas station chain and KFC as well as such brands as Books Misumi, deploys its business across Kyushu from its hometown in Kagoshima. The Group implemented a branding strategy to enhance the sense of Group unity and reinforce its position as a major player in the region.
The branding project for the Group started in 2005. We expressed the diversity of Misumi's businesses concurrently with the Misumi brand concept in an integrated manner by rearranging the brand structure into the business domains of "Energy," "Lifestyle" and "Food & Beverages" and deploying the newly developed brand logo systematically in the business brands.
